The Almanac

This section of the website is a complete guide towards designing and expertly building modern websites that can be edited using WebYep CMS.

It's called the 'almanac' because unlike a static e-book, this guide regularly gets updated with new content and links, based on the latest web technologies becoming available and new design trends. Think of this almanac as an extension to the official WebYep documentation.

The hope is that after you read some or all of the articles, you'll finish with a professional-grade website. A website you'll have great pride in creating and something clients will be thrilled with.

Although it could have been possible to upload a page of HTML templates you could take and use straight away with WebYep, web design is a highly subjective matter. Every website is unique, and so trying to 'shoe horn' existing content into a boilerplate design is difficult. Most web design has already been done! It's often easier to choose an existing template or create your own based on designs and inspiration you like.
